Stay on target Mattel Unveils Fashionable ‘Star Wars’ x Barbie Dolls‘Star Wars: Resistance’ Finale Sets Up ‘The Rise of Sk… EA’s past few years as the sole publisher of Star Wars video games have been… not great. Multiple games have been cancelled. The games that have been released have been riddled with potentially illegal amounts of microtransactions. And Jade Raymond, the star producer brought in to lead the whole #brand, recently left to work on Google’s ambitious Stadia streaming project instead. But Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the final film in the new Star Wars trilogy, releases later this year so you better believe EA has a new Star Wars game in the works to catch that free money at the same time. And if this past February taught us anything the EA team to pin your hopes on isn’t BioWare, currently caught in the Hell of post-launch Anthem, but Respawn Entertainment, currently basking in the glory of Apex Legends. Here’s the the first trailer (albeit cinematic, not gameplay) for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Respawn’s upcoming Star Wars game coming this November (and starring Gotham’s own Cameron Monaghan, following in Mark Hamill’s legacy of Jokers-turned Jedi and vice versa). Plus they put Debra Wilson in another video game!AdChoices广告 Become a Jedi. Tune-in for first look at #StarWarsJediFallenOrder this Saturday, at 1:30pm CDT from #StarWarsCelebration. Given the fun and fluid movement of previous Respawn games like Titanfall and Apex Legends, we expect them to do justice by a character who wields The Force and a sick laser sword. We’re also hoping for some classic Star Wars Jedi Knight vibes in the gameplay. And what better place to make Kyle Katarn canon again. But aside from that this game, much like Episode IX, is one huge mystery. Fortunately, Lucasfilm should shed much more light on both projects at the upcoming Star Wars Celebration festival this coming weekend. In fact, you can watch a livestream reveal of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order this Saturday April 13 starting at 1:30 CDT.
